Orisha’s Acquisition of Optimizers: New Name, Leadership Changes, and Strategic Vision

4 min
As part of this transition, Optimizers will be fully integrated into the “Orisha Commerce” business unit

Paris, January 19, 2025
On June 1, 2024, Optimizers was acquired by Orisha, a global provider of SaaS solutions. As part of this transition, Optimizers will be fully integrated into the “Orisha Commerce” business unit and adopt the Orisha Commerce name starting January 1, 2025.

Over the coming months, the rebranding process will replace the Optimizers brand across all touchpoints. Orisha Commerce provides Unified Commerce solutions designed to deliver seamless shopping experiences, covering every step of the journey—from browsing and discovery to transaction, acquisition, and consumption—across both physical and digital channels. These solutions enable retailers and brands to achieve their Unified Commerce ambitions, driving increased agility and long-term profitability.

The Orisha Commerce business unit also includes the Dutch organizations Cow Hills (POS) and Wolfpack DCS (Omnichannel Retail Platform), as well as the French and Spanish organization Openbravo (POS), Fastmag (POS) and Ginkoia (POS).

As part of the transition from Optimizers to Orisha Commerce, a clear strategic vision for the coming years has been defined. The Optimizers brand will cease to exist and instead be fully integrated into Orisha Commerce, while its underlying products (Tweakwise, Core-suite and Vendre) will operate under autonomous leadership teams. This approach emphasizes a strong, product-centric strategy. Starting January 1, 2025, our primary focus will be on delivering exceptional solutions to our customers. The business unit will adopt a product-oriented organizational structure, with Product Communities spearheading the ongoing development and enhancement of our offerings. To align with this shift, some roles will be refined to provide a sharper focus on individual products within these communities.

In this context, leadership changes will take effect on January 1, 2025. Mark Veldkamp, currently CCO of Optimizers, will take on the role of Executive Director of Tweakwise, focusing on its continued growth alongside his teams. Robin van Halen, the current CTO of Optimizers, will become the Executive Director of Core-suite, bringing his expertise to further develop this product. Karl Kihlbom will stay as the Executive Director for Vendre. Additionally, Stefan Van Diggelen, presently the CEO of Optimizers, will assume the position of Managing Director for Orisha Commerce in Northern Europe. Marco de Vries will stay on as CEO for the Business Unit Orisha Commerce.

We are confident that these changes will strengthen our ability to serve existing and future customers while accelerating the delivery of innovative solutions to the market.
